The football matches of Federation of Uganda Football Association popularly known as FUFA will start on 20th march 2010. This event is very special for the people of Uganda as it is the only event where thousands of spectators witness the event together.
The first match between Bunamwaya and Hoima is going to get postponed because the venue has not been decided yet. The Nakivubo stadium which is hired every year is surprisingly booked for a weekend music concert already.
Moses Magogo who is the League committee’s secretary put the blame on the management of the stadium which is led by KCC FC chairman Kisekka for choosing music concert over football. He said that this stadium is primarily meant for football and only if the stadium is lying empty, any other event can take place there.

He also said that this kind of delay will affect the finishing point of the league in May thus the management should have not done what they did to delay the league. A music concert can b held later but a national sport event cannot wait.
