Union Program Council and the Residence Halls Association had organized a free event called the Spring Fling for all the CSUN students on Thursday at the Residence Halls’ Lawn. The event had a free entry and free food, along with some add-ons like popcorn, caricature artists, a photo booth, a raffle for Jay-Z concert and a free movie showcase of ‘Couples Retreat’.
UPC’s Spring Fling gave us some information on the vent where she said that Couples Retreat is out of the theatres but it is not yet available for home viewing, it also offered subtitles which were going to be there for the first time before the pre-home release and was very helpful for their deaf students to follow the movie.
They also gave away Jay-Z concert tickets to lucky winners in a raffle and besides that there were other giveaways like popcorn, DVDs and more, all this was given only after the show of valid ID cards. This event was specially organized for the CSUN students but non-residents were also welcomed and given a chance to win some goodies.
